WVU FOUNDATION PHILANTHROPY AWARDS

Each year, the WVU Foundation Board of Directors recognizes and awards donors for their exceptional generosity, commitment and leadership, and proven records of outstanding civic and charitable devotion to the University. Three of the four awards were established in 2005 to commemorate the WVU Foundation’s 50th anniversary. The fourth award (Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation) was established in 2009. Following is a listing of previous awardees and award criteria for each recognition.

Hazel Ruby McQuain Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation

To qualify for this award, a foundation must demonstrate outstanding commitment through its financial support and engagement of others in activities that support and advance philanthropy at West Virginia University.
