J. Wayne Richards '81, '18 Hon., Vice Chair

J. Wayne Richards of Richmond, Texas, has spent his career in the oilfield services sector. After earning his bachelor’s degree in mining engineering (’81) from WVU, he spent 25 years in a number of senior operational and sales and marketing positions with Schlumberger. He currently serves as president and CEO of GR Energy Services based in Sugar Land, Texas. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Global Oilfield Services in Sugar Land, which was sold to a major oilfield services company in 2012.
