As the COVID-19 pandemic disrupts your daily routines, the same is true for our campus community. In a short time, much changed to ensure the safety and well-being of our WVU family. When students return to campus, the beloved home of the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts will have a new name in honor of a leadership gift from the Valerie Canady Charitable Foundation. Beginning today, the former Creative Arts Center on WVU’s Evansdale campus will be known as the Loulie, Valerie and William Canady Creative Arts Center.

West Virginia University has launched a website dedicated to information about the COVID-19 coronavirus and the University’s response and plans should the disease begin to affect the institution and community.

A new scholarship for students of color at the West Virginia University College of Law honors the late Franklin Cleckley, who was the first African American faculty member at the college and one of the first African American professors at WVU. 

Building upon its namesake’s legacy of improving the quality of life in West Virginia, the Milan Puskar Foundation donated $1 million to the new WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital project.

Whenever Larry Cole returns to Morgantown for cancer treatment, he and his wife, Becky, always get a warm welcome at Rosenbaum Family House.

With help from alumni and friends, the next generation of West Virginia dentists and dental hygienists will be trained in radically modernized facilities that reflect the excellent education and quality patient care provided by the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
