The WVU College of Law prepares top lawyers and dedicated leaders for careers that span public service, private practice, government, and business.

Mike and JoAnn Ross and their family have donated $1 million in support of the WVU Medicine Children’s "Grow Children’s" Capital Campaign and the Brick Health Outreach Fund in the WVU School of Medicine.

West Virginia University’s Brickstreet Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation will become the Encova Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation thanks to a generous donation from the Encova Mutual Insurance Group.

The law firm of Bailey, Javins, & Carter, L.C. has given $200,000 to the Moot Court Board at WVU Law.

Three siblings are honoring their late uncle by creating an endowed scholarship for students in the John Chambers College of Business & Economics at West Virginia University.  

Heidi Williams, Scott Cerullo and Mark Cerullo say their Uncle Bob Cerullo was a successful and extremely generous man who loved WVU. By creating the Robert J. Cerullo Scholarship, the family says it can commemorate their uncle’s generosity as well as the pride he had in his alma mater.

Knowing her daughter Harlow would be born with some type of clefting of the lip, palate or both, Katie Pritt initially contemplated leaving the state to find the best healthcare available.

Her search, instead, ended in Morgantown at WVU Medicine Children’s with plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Aaron Mason.

Alumni and fans who enjoy performances of the  West Virginia University  Mountaineer Marching Band  have the opportunity to help it travel across the state this fall for performances in Wheeling and Charleston.

The WVU Cancer Institute’s annual ‘ Pink Party’ is scheduled for Monday, September 16th from Bartini Prime in Morgantown.  

Seven students pursuing doctoral degrees at West Virginia University are receiving funding through the Ruby Scholars Graduate Fellows Program. Lauryn Alexander, Heather Baldwin, Elaine Christman, John Hansen, Emily Hughes, Alyssa Stonebraker and Nicholas Winch have been named to the eighth class of fellows.
