West Virginia University’s Mountaineer Racing team recently received a $30,000 award from the DENSO North America Foundation in support of the development of an engine dynamometer testing facility. The facility will be used to test and tune the team’s racing engines.

The Office of Graduate Education and Life has announced the recipients of the year's WVU Foundation Graduate Scholarship awards. 

The Malcolm Davis Living Legacy Fund for Ceramics at West Virginia University will further the work of late esteemed potter Malcolm Davis, thanks to his beloved wife, Judith Davis.

Mr. Davis was almost forty when he took his first pottery class in 1974.  He had held many titles in his life up until that point, including banker, pastor, actuary and political activist.  But it was during that first pottery class that Mr. Davis found what he considered his destiny.  

For more than a decade, geology students at West Virginia University have used the same advanced software used by oil and gas companies worldwide, expanding their marketability for industry jobs.
