Dr. James "Jim" Anderson

Dr. James "Jim" Anderson was an undergraduate chemistry major and President of the graduating class of WVU School of Dentistry in 1986, while also a scholarship football player for the Mountaineers. He was Chief Resident of the general practice residency at Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, GA.  A recently retired general dentist and owner of Tree City Dental in Kent, OH for 39 years, Dr. Anderson extended his care far beyond his patients as a longtime board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland, he generously offers his skills, time, and leadership to champion member health, once receiving State of Ohio Board Member of the Year honors. Since 2014, he has partnered with Team Smile and the Cleveland Guardians to provide free dental care to over 300 club members annually. His accomplishments and generosity have earned him recognition as a member of the Pylons Alliance Leadership Society, honoring special friends and supporters of the WVU School of Dentistry.
