Penelope "Penni" F. Roll '88, Vice Chair

Penelope “Penni” Facemire Roll of Oakton, VA, graduated magna cum laude from WVU’s Chambers College of Business and Economics in 1988, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting.  Roll spent most of her career as a Chief Financial Officer in the alternative investment management industry.  She was a Partner at Ares Management Corporation and served as the Chief Financial Officer of Ares Capital Corporation, Chief Financial Officer of Ares Management's Credit Group, and Global Chief Compliance Officer of Ares Management.  Roll began her career in public accounting at KPMG LLP and is a native of Summersville, West Virginia. While at WVU, she was a member of Chi Omega, Mountain and 4-H and was also Miss Mountaineer. Roll has been inducted into the Chambers College Roll of Distinguished Alumni, is a benefactor of the College’s Roll Capital Markets Center, and is a member of the Founders Club of the Student Managed Investment Fund.
