The West Virginia University School of Nursing is expanding its Faith Community Nursing program into seven counties in the Mid-Ohio Valley — Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wirt, and Wood — thanks to generous funding from the Sisters Health Foundation.

A $50,000 gift from alumna Sallie Mathews Romano will establish a scholarship to aid future nursing students.

Thanks to generous funding from the Pallottine Foundation of Huntington, the West Virginia University School of Nursing, in collaboration with FaithHealth Appalachia, is expanding its Faith Community Nursing program into Boone, Lincoln, Mason, and Wayne counties.
